Senet S. Bischoff is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Bischoff is a member of the Corporate Department and his practice focuses on corporate finance and general securities and corporate matters. He has experience at a broad range of financing transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, recapitalizations and initial public offerings.
Mr. Bischoff represents underwriters, placement agents, initial purchasers, issuers and other parties in public and private, secured and unsecured, investment grade, high yield and convertible debt and equity offerings of all kinds in a broad array of industries, including defense, gaming, natural resources, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, real estate development, manufacturing, energy, media and telecommunications, technology, retail and consumer products. He also represents public and private companies in connection with corporate governance, securities law and financing matters, and investment banks, companies, private equity sponsors and investors in all manner of other engagements, including SEC, FINRA, NASDAQ and NYSE filings and compliance, tender offers and consent solicitations, the purchase or sale of distressed debt, restructurings (including exchange offers), and bridge lending and loan commitments.
Mr. Bischoff currently serves on the firm’s Training and Career Enhancement and Opinions and Confirmations Committees, has served on the firm’s Ethics Committee and Associates Committee and is a former Co-chair of its Corporate Department in New York. Mr. Bischoff was included in the September 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 issues of New York Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in the area of "Corporate Finance and Securities."
