Shyan Selah & The Republic of Sound

A modern musician raised on the greatest icons in music from The Beatles to James Brown, Shyan Selah is poised to take his special sound of Rock, Soul and Hip Hop worldwide after signing a label to label deal between his record label BNW Global and INGrooves/Universal.

A seasoned music professional rooted in hip hop, Shyan Selah first released Brave New World, the Album, in 2008 through KOCH. From Brave New World highlights included the first single, "Hollywood Blvd," which went #1 on national College Urban Radio and was licensed by MTV, VH1 and CBS/Paramount for their hit drama, NUMB3RS; and the club-banging "Concrete City," which was featured on the One Love: Tru Ballin' 2 DVD featuring today's biggest NBA and NFL stars.

After the release of Brave New World, Shyan's special blend of top-notch MC and unique soul vocals took a turn to rock and soul once he started recording his next album, City of Angels. The first single to be released in January 2013 is "Pink Butterfly," an interpolation of Nirvana's "All Apologies." City of Angels is quickly becoming a highly anticipated worldwide release from INGrooves/Universal. To learn more about Shyan and his music visit [+]
