Shivapriya has vast experience of nearly 20 years, in both Industry and Academics, in the field of Marketing and Management. She has worked closely in all aspects of Business Development, handling Marketing programs for a wide variety of fast moving consumer goods and industry intermediaries. This has given her an insight into business, interpersonal skills, administration and implementation. Shivapriya is a visiting faculty for Marketing, Branding and Communications at Chennai Business School, Velachery and is a faculty of Marketing at IGNOU, Muscat Chapter. In her previous roles she held a wide range of responsibilities such as Marketing Manager at flavors Division for International Flavors and Fragrances, Product Manager for Hair Care at Sara Lee TTK, Account Supervisor at Hindustan Thompson Associates-HTA,(JWT), Product Manager at Health Beverages at Cadbury India Ltd. and Brand executive at TOMCO, (The Tata oils Mills Co. Ltd). Going through an intensive Associate Coaching Certification in Coaching for Human Capital Building and Improved Work Performance, with Results Coaching Systems (a partner with Franklin Covey) She also has a Masters in Music from the University of Madras She is proficient in both spoken and written Hindi, Tamil and Marathi.
