Sky Siu was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Ghana, West Africa. She obtained her first degree in the US and returned to Hong Kong shortly after graduation in 2005 where she co-founded a support network for over 50 ethnically Chinese TCKs teens who regularly meet on an annual basis.She obtained her Masters in Public Health in 2007 at the University of Hong Kong with a distinction in her dissertation entitled DDT as a malarial vector control method and its potential risks to human reproductive health and neonatal development. In the last 5 years, Sky has worked in adolescent research as well as evaluation of women and family empowerment projects in South Asia for various academic institutions and non-profit organizations. Her combined passion for youth development and community health has brought Sky to her current role working as a Programme Manager in a local youth charity called KELY Support Group. In her role, she has the opportunity to develop, conduct monitoring and evaluation as well as oversee the implementation of youth programmes that tackle drug and alcohol addiction prevention and intervention, benefitting at risk and marginalized youth.
