Americana Blues singer songwriter Scott Wilcox has produced four albums, performed his music on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a special musical guest, won back to back titles in the Bob Dylan Songwriting Competition and toured all over the Midwest. His unique Americana blues style of music has been showcased on regional and national radio and he has repeatedly headlined at the Hard Rock Café in Chicago.
Raised in Wisconsin as the son of a radio DJ, Scott was influenced by classic musicians like Ray Charles, James Taylor and the Rolling Stones. Scott has written hundreds of songs, he plays drums, piano, and guitar and sings so well that Oprah called his music a true gift. His music blends Chicago blues, Wisconsin country, and a little rockabilly into an Americana blues genre he thinks of as the Wisconsin sound. [+]
