Currently in pre-production for his next album, Alexander has relocated to the East Coast while preparing for a US / European tour this summer.

Stefan Alexander hit the Los Angeles music scene with a bang in late 2012. Shortly after opening his West Coast tour at the House of Blues, Alexander was named one of the the top 9 upcoming singer/ songwriters in LA (The 9). He has gone on to grace the stages of The Roxy Theatre, The Good Hurt, and Witz End.

Alexander’s recent awards and achievements include first place in John Mayer’s Side Stage Warfare Competition (Boston), winner of Emergenza’s Audience Choice Award (DC), as well as his soundtrack work on the independent film “Laundromat”. Five months after the release of his last EP in 2009, “Halfway to Heaven,” he climbed to #1 in the Blues, Rock, and Pop genres on Myspace Music’s ‘Unsigned’ Charts - where he stayed for two over months (Billboards, DC).

He has collaborated with artists such as Owen Danoff, Keith Grimes (Eva Cassidy), Jette Kelly (Jette-Ives), and Danny Schwartz; East Coast performances include The Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, The Shrine, The Rock & Roll Hotel, The Velvet Lounge, and Blues Alley. [+]
