Stephanie A. Song is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins, and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department. Ms. Song’s practice involves a broad range of complex business and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on international antitrust cartel and merger control matters.
Ms. Song has experience in federal civil litigation, as well as government investigations, including drafting various motions, defending and preparing for depositions, responding to government requests, and leading complex large-scale discovery. Her clients include high-profile technology corporations, major airlines, global office supplies corporations, major container shipping companies and commercial real estate firms.
Ms. Song also has an active pro bono practice, including asylum work, drafting corporate documents for a partnership and updating key pro bono resources in various countries. She is also substantially involved as a liaison and organizer with a nationwide community group helping inner-city high school students, which is actively supported by the firm.
Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Song worked as an in-house legal intern for the Oakland Raiders. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as an executive board member for the Henry M. Campbell Moot Court Competition as well as the External Chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). Ms. Song earned her BA in English and History, magna cum laude, at the University of California Los Angeles.
