His research interests include globalization, global governance, the social and political impacts of the digital revolution, the politics of international business, and global strategy. He teaches MBA courses in multinational management and international political-economy.Professor Kobrin worked for Proctor and Gamble as a Brand Manager in the United States and Venezuela and has taught at MIT's Sloan School and at the Graduate School of Business at N.Y.U. He joined the faculty of the Wharton School in 1987 and has served as Director of the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies and Chair of the Management Department. He has a Ph.D. in International Business from the University of Michigan, an MBA from Wharton, and a B.Mgt.Eng. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. [+]
