Steven Hilton

Steve Hilton is Corporate Vice President of Global Government and Public Affairs for McDonald’s. Hilton’s global portfolio includes public policy, sustainability, influencer engagement, issues management, and an increased focus on scientific, evidenced-based research in the areas of food, nutrition, and health. Previously, Hilton was a successful Washington, D.C. based lobbyist and attorney. Hilton has worked closely with senior government leadership, including President Obama’s transition team in 2008, and serving as Deputy Assistant to the President/Chief of Staff in the White House Office of Public Liaison under President Clinton. He also served as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Judiciary Committee Chief Counsel for Senator Arlen Specter. Hilton achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and was appointed by President Clinton as a Commissioner of the American Battle Monument Commission.
