For over two decades, Susan has helped healthcare companies navigate the opportunities and challenges of an evolving communications landscape. Her deep expertise in building strategic communications platforms, includes brand positioning, audience activation, stakeholder engagement, and crisis and issues management on behalf of healthcare companies and products across all phases of development.
Prior to joining Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Susan held senior positions at several top communications firms where she oversaw product and corporate public relations initiatives for companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
Over the years Susan has acquired experience working with clients large and small across a broad range of medical and therapeutic areas, including neuroscience, rheumatology, pain management, gastroenterology, oncology, women’s health, ophthalmology, infectious disease and medical device/diagnostics.
Susan began her career working in corporate communications at United States Surgical Corporation, a diversified medical technologies company specializing in surgical staplers, sutures and advanced laparoscopic and surgical instrumentation.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. [+]
