Takashi Tanazawa

Takashi Tanazawa has broad experience in international and domestic litigation, including product liability cases, tort cases, contract disputes including business-to-business contract disputes and consumer contract disputes, labor cases, and corporate matters. His experience also covers cases involving civil execution, civil preservation, bankruptcy, and civil rehabilitation.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2005, Takashi served as a judge in Japan for seven years where he dealt primarily with civil lawsuits, civil execution, civil preservation, and bankruptcy cases. From September 2009 to June 2010, he worked in the Firm's Pittsburgh Office and gained experience in U.S. civil litigation including U.S. product liability cases in which Japanese companies were sued.
