  Tank Hoffa was born Thomas Petoff in Brooklyn New Yorks Coney Island hospital. His life from the age of five (5) was mostly spend in group homes, foster homes, institutions and prison. In 2010 he was tried and convicted of two gun charges, and was sentenced to 3 years in A State Correctional Institution. Prior to his release in 2013 he spent the entire time researching and mastering his knowledge of the music business and working on his lyrics. Today Tank Hoffa's accolades consist of, Opening for Gucci Mane on the 4th of July 2010 uncountable proformances and being interviewed twice locally by WERG Gannon University Radio station in 2013 & for Go Erie.com a music blog in 2014. . He is making music for his fans which typically attend his shows by the hundreds, even with Tank is performing 2 to 3 times a week.
