Tara Thomas is the Senior Managing Director, Strategy and Risk at Teach for America, an education focused nonprofit organization. Prior to joining Teach For America's Staff, she worked for a small social impact strategy firm, ROI Ventures, where she helped nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises develop more robust strategies to achieve their missions. Tara is a MIT Sloan School of Management graduate where she was a Forte Fellow as well as a Seley Scholar. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree, Tara worked for IBM as an Organizational Strategy and Change Consultant across a number of industries. Tara graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan in 2006 with a dual honors concentration in Economics and Organizational Studies. [+]
