The Cruz Brothers

Originally founded by brothers Phil and PJ Cruz after composing the featured theme for television series Surviving Sam, The Cruz Brothers have a wide and eclectic range of musical influences and an energetic live performance. Their original music is influenced by bands like The Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and BB King just to name a few.

Phil Cruz, the lead guitarist and vocalist, uses his guitar to add a melodic lead to the sound, and brings the audience in during shows to participate.

PJ Cruz, the percussionist, forms the backbone of The Cruz Brothers by utilizing a variety of instruments to keep the sound tight.

Taylor Benson, who performs on bass guitar and keyboards, adds her knowledge as a multi-instrumentalist and her overall strong musicianship to the mix.

Cory Jones, our newest member, the rhythm guitarist, fills in the music with melodies that reflect The Cruz Brothers' signature sound.

This year, The Cruz Brothers were honored by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida with the title of "Hard Rock Cafe Brand Ambassadors."

The recipients of this award were selected from 60 artists who performed at the Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival. Among them, 10 were selected to represent the Hard Rock as ambassadors. We are honored to be a part of the Hard Rock family.

Committed to bringing tight live performances and maintaining a professional personal environment, The Cruz Brothers are dedicated to their passion for music.

They are driven to become the best songwriters, performers, and musicians they can be. [+]
