The Kinky Fingers | Wiki | Everipedia

The Kinky Fingers have cut their teeth over the past few years by playing almost constantly. Their first two years as a band consisted of three American west coast tours (two of which included dates in Mexico), a southern "Bible Belt" tour, and several one-offs to Kansas City and Austin. In their hometown of Denver they've been support for bands like The Growlers, Allah Las, Banditos, Guantanamo Baywatch, Mystic Braves, and The Shivas.

They've coined the term "Santa Fe Surf" to describe their blend of country and surf rock, which was the overwhelming sound of their first two EPs (White River City) (Santa Fe Surfin'). However their latest release (Vagabond), coming in the form of an eight track "mini album", foreshadows a shift towards heavier, riff driven rock, and soulful anthems. [+]
