The Leah Marie King Band

Leah has toured the U.S. and Canada for the last several years, playing everywhere from large blues festivals to clubs like Buddy Guy's Legends, Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero in Mississippi, the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar in downtown Nashville, and dozens of other reputable clubs. Leah has opened for such legends as Johnny Winter and Eddie "The Chief" Clearwater, and Sonny Rhodes recruited her for his Western Canadian tour as his guitar player. She is especially renowned for her intense guitar mastery, considered by some to be the best female blues-rock guitarist in the world. She is currently #1 on the Nashville Blues charts.

Her band consists of Calvin Johnson on the bass who played with Anthony Gomes and Scott Holt. On drums is the the Rev Zack Reynolds, who was the rhythm section for the house band at B.B. King's Blues Club in Nashville. They are an outstanding band, high energy and a real crowd-pleaser, receiving standing ovations. Leah Marie King is often compared to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. [+]
