The Mighty Q.C. 5

North Carolina’s own, The Mighty Q.C. 5 utilizes the raw elements of Blues, Gospel, and Funk to create what they call “Soul Music”. “We make music that’s good for the soul, period.” says band member Dustin Hofsess. Hailing from the Queen City aka Charlotte, NC (hence the QC), these five talent musicians combine their knack for creating soulful music with their ability to captivate crowds big and small.
Their new digital release, The Ego Demo v.1, includes such songs as “Stroking My Ego”, “It Takes Two”, and “Dirty Nasty, Dirty Dog”. tMQC5 is currently embarking on a three month marketing campaign that will include public relations, radio, and video. In addition, they are composing two hours worth of new material for their up and coming live shows.
The Mighty Q.C. 5 began as a result of mutual admiration for each other’s music. (Summarize Kevin’s quote).
This hot collage of seasoned musicians was the product of other successful bands. Drummer Adam Snow, Guitarist Kevin Gill and Bassist Dustin Hofsess are the psychedelic groove trio known as Green Light. Lead singer/Songwriter Gregoria “G” D’Voldre and veteran vocalist Reginald Funderburke b.k.a. "Jemi Atlas" performed together in the popular gospel quartet group, Resurrection. D’Voldre continued his musical career by taking lead vocals in the rock group, Wicked Jones, while Atlas performed with notable acts such as The Soul Stirrers and The Drifters.

MQC5’s musical mission is to give the people unique music that is raw, real, and rocking.
