The Pleasant Tense

The Pleasant Tense has worked endlessly to tighten, improve, and define their sound. They have blended old influences such as Sly and the Family Stone, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, and Aretha Franklin with new influences such as Radiohead, The Black Keys, Sharon Jones, and Hiatus Kaiyote to create a truly unique sound. Defined by a random drunk fan as “Etta James backed by Led Zeppelin” (A flattering comparison that Is without a doubt up for debate), the band continues to play shows and turn heads everywhere they go.

“Easy Art”, a four song EP, is the newest release by The Pleasant Tense and is available in Itunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud. [+]
