From Kansas City, MO, the Shameless Pursuit is a mix of Alternative, Prog, Indie, and Folk Rock with a singer/songwriter undertone.
The Shameless Pursuit (TSP) began in January of 2015 as a project to bring the musical writings of Jeffrey Means to fruition. This quickly became a collaboration of all three members and began to perform their works in the Spring of 2015.
TSP released their album titled "Fail it Forward" October 23, 2015, which gained some deserved attention. "The Shameless Pursuit are shamelessly pursuing music. It shows," says Caleb Sommerville of Mills Record Company. "They’ve only been around since January and have already come far." Steven Ervay of The Deli Magazine added, "For a band straight out of the gates, The Shameless Pursuit seems to be doing everything right." Speaking to the album's sonic quality, Caleb shared, "The quick EP smacks of Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, and even Switchfoot at times, but it’s obvious that Jeffrey Means, the guitarist and vocalist, has his own ideas for direction."
Since their release in October, TSP has made several appearances on college and public radio, podcasts, collaboration albums, and music blogs across the nation. "You could really tell they love their fans," says author Dee King. "If you haven’t had the chance to check them out, it’s a must!"
TSP is currently performing across the Midwest. For booking inquiries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or find them on Facebook.
