The Womps

Prepare yourself for The Womps; a band with chemistry, bottomless talent, and a wealth of fresh, rocking tunes designed to caress / obliterate your eardrums. The band was formed through a chance meeting (though some say it was destiny) at a midnight soiree in the fall of 2014 when longtime friends Colin Frecknall (Drums), J.P. Goldman (Bass/Vox), Kailey Zercher (Violin/Vox) and Jason Lilly (Guitar/Vox) realized the time was right to set out and rock the foundations of the universe. Hailing from all over the United States, these four young musicians came together to bring their eclectic mix of rock, folk, punk (and who knows what else) straight to your town, city, laptop and iPhone. Together, they combine years of experience of playing in award-winning ensembles, along with gigs with classical musicians and accomplished performers like singer Arnold McCuller and musician and actor Ben Taylor. Currently almost halfway finished with their respective degrees at Berklee College of Music in Boston, The Womps know more than a few chords, and have enough hot licks stored up to melt your face permanently.
If you live in the Boston/New England area stay posted as we’ll likely be playing a show near you in the next few months. To the rest of the world: wait for us.
We’ll be there. [+]
