The Filthy Lowdown started with three guys – Abe, Max, and Brandon – working towards a simple goal; one familiar to Pittsburgh’s blue collar roots: hard, fast rock to combat the day-to-day grind.
The next year entailed a couple of joints, some bad decisions, and a drummer. A few good decisions later led to a drummer no more, then Dennis, who’s been beating the snare mercilessly ever since. A few beers and some more bad decisions made for a slippery slope to a bass player, Chuck – you can’t win ‘em all.
Locked, loaded, and running a buzz, The Filthy Lowdown are at work spreading the blasphemous gospel of relentless, powerful rock – whether a complex display of technical skill or a two-chord dagger aimed straight at your eardrums.
You don’t need to be part of the scene; you don’t need to drop the names; you don’t need to look the part. When The Filthy Lowdown step on stage, grab your drink, get up, and just let the music take control.
