Thomas A. Benhamou

Thomas Benhamou’s practice focuses primarily on litigation, with particular emphasis on complex commercial matters. He also represents several pro bono clients in employment, asylum, and contract matters. Before working at Latham & Watkins LLP, Mr. Benhamou worked as a summer clerk in a civil rights litigation firm.

While at Northwestern University School of Law, Mr. Benhamou and his teammate won first place in the Miner Moot Court Competition in 2014.

Mr. Benhamou has represented plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court in various stages of litigation including answering complaints, conducting written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and arguing motions. Mr. Benhamou also has experience representing clients in arbitration proceedings.
