Thomas Claudel is an associate in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Tax Department.

Mr. Claudel is active in the field of corporate taxation. He provides general tax advice to French and multinational groups of companies, investment funds as well as financial institutions, and focuses on the tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, assets financings and group restructurings. He also has experience in the fields of tax controversy and compensation and benefits schemes.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Claudel was an associate in the tax department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for three years.
