Instrumental progressive post-rock band Time Columns uses highly expressive instrumentation, complex rhythmic meters, catchy melodies and live looping to create music that is sincerely unique.
For years, Time Columns was comprised of two multi-instrumentalists, Kenny Eaton and Jordan Miller, but the band has recently expanded to a tio adding Josh Hursey on bass guitar. Combining elements of post-rock, progressive, jazz and math rock, Time Columns creates epic instrumental music comparable to Battles, Explosions in the Sky, Steve Reich, and Circa Survive.
Time Columns turned more heads in 2012 with full length, "Mana", released on Oxide Tones and Subsuburban records. This record has kept the band busy and touring, and even performing at the 2012 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX. [+]
