Timilin Sanders is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Litigation & Trial Department. Ms. Sanders primarily works in the areas of securities litigation and white collar defense. Her practice includes SEC enforcement proceedings and investigations, PCAOB investigations and False Claims Act litigation. In addition to government enforcement and investigations, she litigates complex commercial matters, shareholder securities class actions and other matters in federal and state court. In her pro bono practice, Ms. Sanders successfully represented a group of underprivileged tenants seeking safer housing conditions, and assists impoverished seniors with advance directive and estate planning.
In law school, Ms. Sanders was senior articles editor for the George Mason Law Review, and interned with Judge Susan G. Braden at the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. She recently co-authored a chapter on E-Discovery for the Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook, a treatise on Intellectual Property Law.
