Timothy Goh

Tim Goh's practice focuses primarily on large complex cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, public takeovers, restructurings, private equity, strategic investments, joint ventures, and fund formation. He also regularly advises on general corporate and commercial matters and employment-related issues in Singapore.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Tim worked with top law firms in Singapore and the Middle East, where he represented multinational corporations, private equity funds, state-owned companies, and sovereign wealth funds. His recent experience includes advising: a multinational corporation on its public takeover of a 60 percent interest in a China-based confectionary business for $2.1 billion, a multinational corporation on the acquisition of a Singapore company with subsidiaries in Malaysia and Vietnam, and a private equity fund on two rounds of investment into a Norwegian water desalinization company.
