Thomas J. DeLong is a professor of Management Practice in Organizational Behavior at the Harvard Business School. His research examines why driven individuals become paralyzed by their own success. As managing director of development and human capital at Morgan Stanley, DeLong began his study of high-achieving professionals. He was recruited by the Harvard Business School to teach MBAs and executives about not only leading in professional service firms and strategic human resources but leadership as well.
