Tonit Calaway is vice president, human resources at Harley-Davidson, Inc. and president of The Harley-Davidson Foundation. She supervises more than 200 employees and guides leadership development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, diversity, facilities and security. A Milwaukee native, Calaway joined Harley-Davidson in 1998 as an attorney. She was promoted to assistant general counsel and chief compliance counsel and assistant secretary before being named vice president of human resources in 2009. Calaway was named to Savoy Magazine’s list of “Top Influential African-American Women in Corporate America” for 2013 and a “Woman of Influence” by the Milwaukee Business Journal in 2014. She serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Meta House, Inc., and the Greater Milwaukee Committee. Prior to Harley-Davidson, Calaway worked for two Milwaukee law firms.
