Tulika Srivastava, the Executive Director of South Asia Women’s Fund (SAWF) and Co-chair of International Network of Women’s Fund (INWF) is a renowned lawyer, with much expertise on CEDAW. She started her practice as an Advocate before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad in 1989, and has undertaken cases for women's rights even as a part of social justice organizations. Her journey in the women’s rights movement began in 1993 when she joined Mahila Samakhya (in India), with whom she worked till 1995. She is an expert trainer on Law, Rights and Gender; Human Rights-based approach to programming and implementation; and her strengths also include strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and research, advocacy at local, national and international levels.
