Dr. Ulrich Wuermeling is a counsel in the London and Frankfurt offices. His main area of expertise is privacy law and his clients predominantly operate in the finance, technology, marketing and media sectors. German and international legal directories consistently list Mr. Wuermeling as a leading individual in Data Protection, IT and Outsourcing (JUVE 2014/2015, Chambers Europe Germany 2014, Handelsblatt Best Lawyers 2015, The Legal 500 Germany 2016). He is ranked in Band 1 for Data Protection by Chambers Europe Germany 2015.
Mr. Wuermeling teaches privacy law as a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University London. He chairs Euroforum’s annual German and European Data Protection Conference in Berlin and regularly speaks and publishes on data protection matters.
