Universal Funk Order

Universal Funk Order is a Funk/Rock/Hip-Hop band based out of Delaware. They played their first show at Mojo Main in Newark, DE April 8th, 2011 and have been playing out extensively ever since. They attack every show with the intention of taking control of the movement of your body while stimulating your mind.

Universal Funk Order is currently in post-production for their upcoming Demo CD, due out in early 2013. The first single "Tax Farm" has already been released and has been nominated for Best Song of The Year by WSTW Hometown Heroes.

Featuring both Berklee School of Music graduates and self taught musicians as members, Universal Funk Order brings a whole lot of talent wherever they go. The current line-up is John Dickinson on Drums, Gavin Heise on Bass and Jason Brown on Guitars, Brett Lamel on Trombone, Kenneth Wallach on Trumpet and Reid Kelley as their vocalist. The band has also been known to frequently use guest musicians for live shows, ranging from back up singers, auxiliary percussion and/or rappers. This band will do anything to add more depth to a show.
