Vanessa Wu is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins. Her practice covers a range of litigation as well as counseling and project management. She has advised clients on complex matters, including antitrust, merger control, employment, trade secrets and class action disputes. Ms. Wu has represented clients in federal, state and international venues and through all stages of litigation from government investigations and other pre-litigation postures through to trial. She has experience representing clients before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission as well as international regulators.
Ms. Wu serves on Latham's Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients on immigration and human trafficking issues. She also works with the American Civil Liberties Union challenging the government's use of surveillance technology.
While attending law school, Ms. Wu held externships with the Civil Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California and volunteered with the Immigrants’ Rights Project at Public Law Counsel in Los Angeles.
