Veronica Fridman has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on legal aspects of development, acquisition, prosecution, and protection of intellectual property. She has extensive experience in developing strategies for protection of intellectual property through selective use of registrations, license agreements, and litigation across various IP/IT disciplines such as trademarks, copyrights (including software), patents, data privacy, IT, e-commerce, designs, and trade secrets. She has handled IP litigation in Russia and coordinated cross-border IP litigation in various CIS countries.

Veronica has considerable knowledge of Russian data protection laws, and she advises clients, including banks and other financial institutions, on compliance with the Russian data protection regulations in the context of cross-border transfers of personal data. She also advises on advertising, mass media, and consumer protection laws. [1]
