Vertical Horizon

Vertical Horizon is an American alternative rock band that formed at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1991. The current line-up is comprised of Matt Scannell on lead vocals and lead guitar, Ron LaVella on drums, Jason Orme on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Cedric LeMoyne on bass guitar, and backing vocals. The band are known for their hit songs, “You're a God,” “Everything You Want,” and “Best I Ever Had,” from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Scannell started the band with fellow classmate, Keith Kane as a duo, and after graduating college the duo moved to Boston and self-released their debut album, “There and Back Again,” in 1992.
