Volkl 100Eight W Womens Skis 2016

The all new Volkl 100Eight W is a ski for ripping ladies who love to spend their time seeking out the fresh powder anywhere on the mountain. Volkl's new 3D Ridge construction lowers the total weight of the ski by having a raised ridge in the center of the ski, and a thinner construction over the sidewalls to lower the inertia to make the ski more agile, increase pressure distribution, and allow the ski to steer precisely when and where you want it to go. The 100Eight has a Multi-Layer Wood Core that uses a dense Ash Wood on the binding mounting platform to reduce the chances of pulling out screws and a Poplar Wood to give the ski a smooth flex in the tip and tail. The Tough Box Construction has a Composite and Fiberglass sheath wrapped around the wood in the mid body of the ski to add an extra pop. The Fully Rockered Shape of the 100Eight gives you awesome flotation in deep snow, and uninterrupted edge contact when the ski is on edge. If you want a lightweight ski that can crush any terrain or snow condition the new Volkl 100Eight W is the ski for you. [+]
