Volkl Ledge Skis 2016

The Volkl Ledge is a ski for progressive freestyle skiers who are looking for pop and power when you boost off of jumps and rails in the park. The Symmetrical Shape make spinning tricks, skiing switch, and landing switch easy, and will give you even more style points. Volkl's Multi-Layer Wood Core has two different densities of wood. Ash is used underneath the binding mounting platform that provides the ski with better screw retention, to reduce the chances of pulling out bindings. Poplar wood is used everywhere else on the ski to give you a snap and pop for launching off of jumps, and butters on rails. The Ledge has a Rocker/Camber/Rocker Profile that increases the amount of playfulness, and improves the amount of maneuverability you have anywhere on the mountain. Volkl's Power/Tough Box Construction uses a composite/fiberglass sheath to give you an extra snap, while the vertically laminated wood adds extra power and stability. When you love flying off of anything you can catch air from, or grinding your skis on anything but snow, the Volkl Ledge is the ski for you! [+]
