Wael Amin is a partner at Sawari Ventures and co-chairman of ITWorx. He became an entrepreneur at an early age, founding his first company while still in college. After graduating at the age of 18, Amin co-founded ITWorx, leading its growth over 20 years to one of the largest and most influential IT companies in the Middle East. ITWorx has created more than 5,000 jobs, expanded to 12 countries across four continents and won countless industry accolades. It has produced more than 200 entrepreneurs responsible for 100-plus Egyptian technology startups. Amin is a frequent contributor to the Egyptian startup mentoring scene, being an Endeavor, Flat6 Labs, Google Ebda2, Injaz and Bedaya mentor and judge. He sits on the boards of ITIDA, EITESAL and the Technology Development Fund.
