Walker's Tomb

Walker's Tomb was formed by veteran musicians and brothers, vocalist Nuke Nuki (a.k.a Richard Walker) and guitarist Dan Walker. It started as a recording project in Dan's living room. After writing and recording a couple songs in 2010 the brothers figured they should come up with a name for the project. While driving and discussing possible names they got lost and had to turn around by and old cemetery. As they were turning they noticed a huge headstone with the name "Walker" on it, and as if it were fated to be, Walker's Tomb was born. Over the next couple years it continued as a recording project as they brought in bass player Tyler Gautier and drummer Brock Birkhimer, from their tribute band Poise N' Roses, to help with the recordings. In 2014 Walker's Tomb performed their first live show as Nuke was planning on moving to Florida and wanted at least one live show before he left. They recruited guitarist Chris Smith to cover the rhythm guitar for the show. Dan, Nuke and Chris last played together in 1992 in a band called Seventh Jester, The Walker's Tomb debut performance was well received by those who attended. Nuke had a change of heart about moving away and so Walker's Tomb continues. [+]
