Wang Weiliang

Talented as a singer and actor, he became best known for his star-turning role in the Ah Boys to Men film franchise as the character of Bang Lee Onn, AKA the Lobang King. He then starred in The Lion Men. He dropped out of Monfort Secondary School when he was 14 years old. Before becoming an actor, he was a getai singer. For the soundtrack of The Lion Men, he sang the ballad "Qian Zhe Wo." He won the OMY Best Newcomer Award in 2012. He resides in Singapore and is of Chinese descent. He speaks primarily in Hokkien, English and Mandarin. He and Tosh Zhang developed a strong report after working together on several projects. [+]
