Wendy Atrokhov

Wendy Atrokhov serves as Public Service Counsel for Latham & Watkins, responsible for managing, coordinating and advancing the firm’s global pro bono and public service efforts.

Ms. Atrokhov joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as an associate, and worked as a corporate finance associate, and then counsel, at Latham’s Moscow office from 2002-2010. While in Moscow, she managed key relationships with certain NYSE-listed Russian companies, regularly represented issuers in connection with international public and private equity and debt offerings, and advised foreign private issuers on various US corporate law matters, including compliance issues, corporate reporting and disclosure, development of internal compliance policies, regulatory and stock exchange investigations, corporate governance requirements and “best practices” standards.

Ms. Atrokhov has also served on Latham’s Pro Bono Committee since 2003, establishing the first pro bono program for the Moscow office and leading the office’s public service efforts. She served as a founding participant of PILnet’s Moscow Pro Bono Clearinghouse and currently serves on the Leadership Committee of PILnet’s Pro Bono Council.
