Wendy Battles-Plasse, The Clean Eating Coach, is a nutritionist, author, and meal planning expert. She teaches busy men and women, especially those over 40, how to create a clean eating lifestyle free of processed food, salt and sugar that helps prevents disease, kick starts weight loss, creates boundless energy and supports aging vibrantly. She believes that embracing a healthier lifestyle in midlife creates the stage for vibrant health in later years and reduces the likelihood of chronic disease. As the Clean Eating Coach, she works one-on-one with clients as well as with groups to help people integrate clean eating principles – less processed foods full of fat, sugar and salt, more whole, fresh foods grown in sustainable ways and more focus on slowing down to enjoy your food and tuning into your body. Wendy is a keynote speaker, workshop/seminar leader and teleclass presenter. She works with a range of corporations, non-profits, women’s groups and professional associations, helping organizations recognize the connection between enhanced employee health and improved business results. Wendy believes creating a healthy lifestyle is an adventure -- full of discovery, insights and unexpected stops along the path to better health. She infuses her interactive and engaging presentations with fun, humor, and a host of important information to get participants into action and motivated to practice clean eating. She is the co-author of “A Healthier You” and a contributor to the recently published book, “Is She Naturally Thin or Disciplined? Insider Secrets of the Sexy and Thin.” She has appeared on WTNH’s Good Morning Connecticut, WFSB’s Better Connecticut and Fox-61 News. Wendy holds a Master’s degree in Community Psychology from the University of New Haven, located in West Haven, Connecticut, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Lake Forest College, located in Lake Forest, Illinois. Wendy is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
