The Whyte Caps began in Gulf Shores, Alabama with a dream of a high school student to form a band of the best young gun musicians the area had to offer. The band originally formed in 2011 and over time evolved into a Power Trio with Chris Beverly on Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar, Kyle Thornton on the Drums, and Ryan Hensley on Bass/Vocals. These three powerhouse musicians have created a Rock/Modern Rock sound that has put them on over 175 venue stages and five festival stages in the past year. Whyte Caps has taken over like a tsunami, making colossal waves all across the Southeast and have become a force to be reckoned with. They are experts at adapting to all types of venues/events, exciting the crowd with their high energy, and creating a show that keeps them begging for more! This “Straight to the Top” band dominates the stage with their extreme talent and illusion of BIG SOUND; their fans cannot get enough!

Even more, this Power Trio has come out swinging with an impressive signature sound that is breaking down doors and blow minds. They continue to create killer originals and their ability to hit covers ranging from the1970’s to-date out of the park leaves the crowd breathless; there is nothing they cannot do! This bands fresh, amazing TALENT has attracted a huge local following and is creating a music industry buzz. Although these band members are in their early 20’s, they play like they are seasoned veterans. Moreover, their fans can download their original music from iTunes and can listen to them on IHeartRadio. Whyte Caps continues to amaze and has garnered a #1 Local and Regional Ranking on the popular website Reverbnation and have an impressive following of over 4k fans and over 13K video and song plays.

Furthermore, this extraordinary band competed against seven other bands and was selected to be the entertainment for the Mike Beaty Model & Talent Expo in Dallas, Texas, performed on WALA Fox Studio10, was picked up on TK101 Under the Underground, performed an acoustic show on 96WLYB Radio and was filmed for the program StudioAmped on WSRE TV Pensacola, Florida. As a matter of fact, Matt Roberts, the lead guitarist for 3 Doors Down, saw the band perform; he was so impressed with Whyte Caps he helped produce their first EP, “Four in the Van”. Whyte Caps has played at some of the best local venues like the Flora~Bama’s Mullet Toss, Vinyl Music Hall, Soul Kitchen, and rocked the stage and astounded the audience as the Opening Act for Southern Rock legends, Marshall Tucker Band and has recently toured as far east as Cocoa Beach, FL; this year’s focus is on travel, recording and exposure. Whyte Caps has diligently self-promoted and developed a sound that instantly captivates their audience. These three have what it takes to make it to the TOP!
