William Sohigian is an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Sohigian’s practice focuses on insurance coverage litigation and complex commercial litigation.
He has represented manufacturing, biotechnology and financial services corporations, as well as the management of a failed bank, in a range of disputes in state and federal court. He has drafted motions, pleadings and discovery.
As a pro bono attorney, he successfully obtained asylum for a client from El Salvador.
While at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Mr. Sohigian served as a senior editor of the Southern California Law Review. He received the Edward and Eleanor Shattuck Award, which is given to students whom the faculty judge to exhibit the greatest potential for becoming outstanding members of the bar and whose actions have improved the general quality of life for fellow law students.
