Willow Talk is the collaboration between Anders Lindfors and Laura Fisher. The duo met at a festival in the woods of Pittsburgh while playing for a mutual friend's backing band in the spring of 2011. Their overlapping interests in progressive rock, ambient electronica, and experimental hiphop were too curious to overlook.

At the end of 2011, after much subtle cosmic photosynthesis, a single sketch bounced between hands & ears and eventually became their first track ("Anywhere But Here"). From January to October of 2012, Anders and Laura exchanged audio bits and lyrical ideas, and embarked on the journey of a first release--Anders in Philadelphia and Laura in New York City--during which time neither saw the other in person. Their experience laid the foundation for the technologically unique creative process and collaboration that is Willow Talk.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS was released on October 2, 2012 and is available for free download on Bandcamp (http://willowtalk.bandcamp.com/), SoundCloud (http://soundcloud.com/willow-talk/sets/foreign-affairs/), and Last.FM (http://www.last.fm/music/Willow+Talk/Foreign+Affairs).

Willow Talk comes to life as a 4-piece live band that has been playing a variety of shows, events, and festivals around the northeastern U.S. since March 2013. A full-length follow up to their debut release is currently in the works. [+]
