Wilmot Allen is Managing Partner of 1 World Enterprises, which provides advisory services on financial investments, business strategy and organizational development. He is also an investment consultant at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) with the private equity team, responsible for portfolio supervision and new business investments. Allen helped develop the IFC's strategy for private sector development in fragile and conflict-affected states and was a project manager on global initiatives related to youth unemployment. Allen previously worked as an M&A investment banker with JPMorgan H&Q, as well as in venture capital with Commonwealth Enterprise Fund, in finance and strategy with ABC TV (Walt Disney) and with the private placements group of Merrill Lynch & Company. He is Co-Founder of the Partnership for Urban Innovation (USA) and a former PBS creative executive with KCET/Los Angeles. Allen is an ordained minister and holds degrees from the Wharton School of Business, Harvard Kennedy School, Princeton Theological Seminary and Yale University.
